For this challenge we were required to take an old teaching tool, such as a mind map, or web and create an alternative creative tool that could be used for our LES. We chose to create miniature representations of our ideas. As our LES is about different Barriers we face in our lives, we decided to make several representations of different kinds of barriers. We decided to call this kind of brainstorming, "3D Doodles" as they were tangible, easy to understand and could be created fast enough to be considered a doodle.
This was created as a form of "clothing". Clothes act as a barrier from weather, such as harsh sun, cold, wind and rain.
This was created to represent barbed wire in a jail, Barriers keep people in and can sometimes trap them, This was to represent this kind of barrier.
World barriers exist all over the place, whether it is country boarders, or event the equator. There are even barriers when it comes to different cultures or religions.
A house can also be considered a barrier as it not only keeps us inside, but it keeps people and other things out. A house can make you feel safe, whether it is from people, harsh environments or just that feeling you get when you walk into your room after a long day and just feel safe.
